We are very pleased to announce our partnership with award-winning artist Mark A Chambers. Mark is UK-based yet visits the Dordogne regularly. We have got to know Mark during our time in France and love his ability and energy. Mark is responsible for our amazing sketched house logo.

Exclusive illustrations

Mark has drawn six animal characters exclusively for Cottages de Garrigue. We chose the animals together as all are seen in our area. You will find them framed around the house you are staying in. We are pleased to offer signed prints for sale in singles, pairs or as a full set of six. They are of mixed media printed on premium 100% cotton rag giclee paper. You can enquire about the prints through our contact form or during your stay.
Mark A Chambers
Mark is best known for his children's book illustrations. With a long career working for Bloomsbury, Macmillan, Simon & Schuster and Hodder publishers he has brought children's story books to life with his portrayal of characters and storylines. In 2017 Mark was shortlisted for the AOI World Illustration Awards and in 2013, the Roald Dahl Funny Prize. He has most recently worked with actress Alison Steadman on her book 'Spider!' and completed a UK signing tour including an appearance on BBC Breakfast.
Mark's books include 'Pirate Pete & His Smelly Feet', 'Jake Bakes A Monster Cake' and 'Too Many Moose'.
